A historic win securing his place among the greats of Canadian motorcycle racing.Riding the 2025 Honda CBR1000RR-R SP, Young overcame a season filled with challenges to emerge victorious in the 2025 Bridgestone CSBK National Superbike Championship, becoming the first Honda rider to win the title since Jodi Christie in 2014. The win also earned Honda Team of the Year honours.
Yesterday the Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Kieran Moore, issued a statement announcing he is temporarily assuming the powers of the Board of Health for the Grey Bruce Health Unit and is appointing a special advisor to support the Board.
Starting Monday, August 11th, the main public washrooms at the L.E. Shore Memorial Library will be closed for demolition as part of an emergency repair project. While construction occurs, please use the family washroom located near the public printer and Story Tower. Temporary washrooms are on the way
The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public that surface treatment road work is scheduled to be conducted on various rural and urban roads beginning August 14, 2025. Partial lane closures will be in effect during construction. Work is expected to be complete within 2-3 weeks, weather and conditions permitting.
Collingwood General and Marine Hospital (CGMH) reached a major milestone today with the arrival of its first-ever Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machine. This state-of-the-art diagnostic tool will soon help thousands of South Georgian Bay residents access the care they need, closer to home.
