Sidewalk Astronomy and Constellation Art

1:00pm - 3:00pm
Location: L.E. Shore Library

Tuesday August 6th will be the final session of the RASC Side Walk Astronomy program. This is a drop in program organized by The Royal Astronomical Society (RASC) The idea of this program is to catch people when they are not expecting to get a look through a telescope, and then explain to them what they are seeing. Children will also have the opportunity to create a piece of Constellation Art. Free event Drop in Ages 6 and up

Taoist Tai Chi arts HEALTH RECOVERY CLASS

9:30am - 11:30am
Location: Lora Bay Rec Centre

Health Recovery Classes make use of the Taoist Tai Chi arts to help alleviate the symptoms of chronic illness or injury. Through regular practice, participants will gain better balance, strength, flexibility and circulation, as well as a sense of relaxation and well being. Contact: Tetsuko Jones
