Blue Mountain Resort to open Friday

Blue Mountain Resort will open its 77th ski season on Friday, November 30th, 2018, making it the Resort's earliest opening day since 2013.

Blue Mountain Resort to open Friday

The Silver Bullet High-Speed Six-Person chair lift will be operating, giving access to two (2) top-to-bottom runs, Memory Lane and Tranquility. The Easy Rider Magic Carpet will also be operating.

Blue Mountain Resort will celebrate its opening day with remarks from President and COO, Dan Skelton, followed by photo and video opportunities. Guests can enjoy music and complimentary hot chocolate at the base of Silver Bullet, beginning at 8:00 a.m. Guests can also watch as Blue Mountain's Ski Patrol escorts the Blue Mountain Village Association's Mascot, Frost the Fox, down the hill for the first run of the season. There will also be giveaways for the first 6 people on the first chair lift of the day, which will depart at 8:30 a.m. sharp.

The slopes will officially be open from 9:00 a.m. and close at 4:30 p.m. Lift tickets will be $30+HST for all ages. 5x7 ® , Ikon and Ikon Base Season Passholders can also access the hill during Opening Day.
