To the families & friends of our past residents who supported our community hospice on hike day and continue to share your stories and experiences, WE THANK YOU!
To the Grey & Bruce residents who made donations, collected donations and raised awareness for hospice palliative care, WE THANK YOU!
To the many volunteers that helped on Hike Day, WE THANK YOU!
To our Hike Community Captains who took the lead in the organizing and execution of the hike in their community, WE THANK YOU!
To the local businesses who contributed both with their financial and in kind donations, WE THANK YOU!
To everyone across Grey & Bruce who continues to show support for hospice comfort care, WE THANK YOU!
While the Hike is a national event, due to the generous financial national support 100 percent of the funds raised in Grey Bruce will remain in Grey Bruce and will be used to continue to provide compassionate care to residents and their families.
The hospice palliative care services provided by Chapman House are at least 50 percent funded by charitable donations which make this annual fundraiser a key component to ensuring the future of our community hospices. The money raised through the Hike provides physical, emotional and social assistance to Grey Bruce residents, their families and loved ones. Grey Bruce Residential Hospice is working toward ensuring that more Canadians, receive the end-of-life care they wish for.
