Blue Mountains Cultural Mapping Project

The Craigleith Heritage Depot is creating a cultural map and we need your help! We're inviting residents to share their stories, photos, and historical documents that reflect what makes The Blue Mountains special. This map will showcase the unique cultural, natural and historical treasures of our community, both past and present.

We're inviting residents to share their stories, photos, and historical documents that reflect what makes The Blue Mountains special. This could be anything from historic farms and family businesses, to community festivals and cherished traditions.

Do you have stories or materials related to Collingwood Township history? We'd love to collaborate to capture the important aspects of our community heritage.

Together, we can create a vibrant map that tells the story of The Blue Mountains!

Community involvement is key to the success of The Blue Mountains Cultural Map (TBMCM) Project! By working together, we can build a wealth of knowledge, create excitement for the project, and ensure a shared understanding of our community's unique identity.

Cultural mapping provides a powerful platform for residents to engage in open discussions and share their stories, TBMCM looks to allow residents to self-identify and digitally map and document the people, places, and resources that define their community identity, and to share the stories and narratives that go with them.
